We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.

We use certain information including your AST membership number, contact information and name to identify you in our system.

We also collect website access information. This data is usually anonymized and used for statistical purposes only.

We share current certification and contact information with the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) for the purpose of marketing and statistical data. We also share data with AST state assemblies.

CA-SA of AST does not store credit card information. 

 

Electronic application forms will be destroyed after a period of time set by our retention policy.

CA-SA of AST periodically sends out newsletters, surveys and special offers by e-mail or mail, and you may opt out of receiving this contact by calling our office or checking the “no” box on an application or in the email.

 

CA-SA of AST shares contact information with the NBSTSA and AST. Both the NBSTSA and AST have their own marketing opt-out system. Please contact them to opt out of their system.
